3G-4G internet re-launched

3G and 4G internet on mobile phones has been re-launched after about 11 hours. It has been reported that 3G and 4G internet will be launched after 4 pm on Friday (October 15).

3G and 4G internet services across the country were closed on Friday (October 15) from around 5am.

At first, high speed mobile internet was shut down in Comilla. After that, the internet was shut down in five more districts, the operator said. Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Brahmanbaria, Rajshahi and Chandpur are the districts where high speed internet service has been stopped.

Earlier on Friday morning, Grameenphone, the top mobile operator, said in a statement, “Our 4G and 3G services have been temporarily suspended due to unavoidable reasons.” We are working with the concerned authorities to bring back 4G and 3G services. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. “

At that time, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) said that all mobile operators in the country were shut down due to technical glitches.

However, broadband internet is running uninterruptedly across the country.
