Halloween can be a scary time for kids, fantasies are lively and there is little difference between reality and fiction বিশেষ especially when the world suddenly changes into a horrible landscape! So here are some ideas that can help kids process fears and help them develop a solid emotional toolkit!
- Try not to tell kids that they should not be afraid; They justify their emotions perfectly. But differentiate between emotion and thought (thoughts are fairy tales of the mind).
- Don’t stop at the loudest emotion (perhaps fear); It’s a great time to model that emotions don’t come alone, they come in groups, so ask what Others There are emotions.

This means that if it’s okay to go away and come back later, try revisiting it and peel off the screen so they can see that it’s not real and eliminate thoughts that limit them. The revision may be just a picture of a magazine or a hand-painted picture, but don’t let your kids feel that fear has won them over and prevented them from moving through it!
