WhatsApp voicemail messages are very popular because unlike Facebook Messenger you are not limited in time and you can also see when they have been listened to. You can even change the speed at which to hear them.
And from now on you get another cool feature – the ability to listen to a voicemail message before sending it. To do this, you need to press and hold the mic icon as usual in order to record a voice message, then swipe up to enter hands-free recording mode. When you’re done, tap the center stop button and tap play to preview your message. If you’re happy with it, hit the send button and you’re good to go.

It’s all pretty easy to figure out, really. And, surprisingly, Meta’s other two messaging apps – Facebook Messenger and Instagram – don’t let you do something like this (at least, not yet), but they both let you lock the microphone so that you don’t have to keep pressing the icon while recording.
As usual with these new features, it may take a while for this to roll out to all Android and iOS devices using WhatsApp, but it’s definitely on the way now.
