Xiaomi has just announced its ES50 2022 TV in China, offering a lot of features in a 50-inch diagonal. Of course, the resolution is 4K but more importantly the device supports HDR, Dolby vision and can go up to 600 nits of brightness in 4,096 different levels.
One of the main features of Xiaomi’s new TV is the professional level color accuracy of around 2.0 dE2000a achieved through complex algorithms that reduce color reproduction errors. The AI engine uses super-resolution algorithms to reduce noise, improve definition, and correct low-resolution artifacts in real time.
Other notable features include MEMC, a 10-bit color panel, MediaTek MT9638 quad-core chipset, and runs on MIUI for TV 3.0. Far-field microphones for voice control are also on the menu.
The TV costs CNY 2,399 and is available for pre-order in China with shipments effective December 11. No word on international availability, but we believe it will at least make it to India where the 43, 55, and 65-inch variants are located. Already available.
